How sessions work
All our sessions are run on Zoom, with participants welcome to have cameras off or on, to watch, message or talk.
Once we've introduced the session's games, we help everyone get into our Tabletop Simulator space. Session leaders then lead each game, narrating the group's successes, encouraging co-operation, helping individuals and the group problem-solve and are on-hand for technical support. Participants can also DM (direct message) session leaders if they need one-on-one help.
At the end of each session we collect recommendations for games in follow-on session and factor these into our session planning!
What you'll need
You'll need to:
Setup a Steam account (free)
Install the Steam player on your laptop or tablet (free)
Purchase a copy of Tabletop Simulator on Steam (£14.99)
Download and install Tabletop Simulator in your Steam player, at least one day ahead of session to ensure you can join ready to play at the start of your session
Accept a friend request from your session leader whose username will start with Uncommon_ and end with Cat e.g. Uncommon_DataCat, or Uncommon_OwlCat
OR share your friend code with the session lead once in your zoom call
