How meet-ups work
All our sessions are run on Zoom, with participants welcome to have cameras off or on, to watch, message or talk.
*All platforms supported including tablets, latops, Switch. However we do sometimes have joining issues with Playstations. For PS owners we would suggest having a backup device available in case you experience technical issues
Once we've introduced the session's games, we help everyone get into our private servers. In-game session leaders guide participants or encourage free-play. They narrate the group's successes, encourage co-operation, help individuals and the groups problem-solve and are on-hand for technical support. Participants can also DM (direct message) session leaders if they need one-on-one help.
At the end of each session we collect recommendations for follow-on session and factor these into our session planning and server updates!

Here's what families said about similar gaming clubs:
"The Uncommon Team do a phenomenal job of keeping the sessions fun, adapting to the varying needs (and whims!) of the participants and providing just the right level of support." ๐๐๐๐๐
"I didnโt really know what to expect but it was lovely hearing J laughing and talking to others" ๐๐๐๐๐
"The environment Uncommon creates seems to make all the kids feel like a bonded group really quickly and they are keen to help and support one another as a result. It is so wonderful to see, especially as many of our kids probably struggle with similar peer interactions day to day. Thanks Uncommon Team!" ๐๐๐๐๐
"I wasnโt sure if my daughter would engage or would enjoy it and she did both, so that was very positive!" ๐๐๐๐๐
