Hello, I'm Fern! 

I grew up near Birmingham. At school my favourite subjects at school where History and Science but struggled to socialise. After school I studied palaeontology at university and became vice-president of the university fencing team where I taught people how to play Epee. Since I graduated university I spent a few years traveling, hoping to come back for a PhD one day. 

I have a variety of interests ranging from Sonic the Hedgehog and video games to castle, Welsh and Pre-colonial American History and Natural History.

I am a huge lover of nature, I have an extensive collection of photos I've taken over the years and fossils I've collected from all over the country. My favourite animal is the common pigeon. Another important creature is the trilobite Calymene blumenbachii or Dudley Bug which can be found near my hometown
