Founder & CEO
Kirsten Jack
Kirsten is the CEO and Founder of Uncommon.

Before creating Uncommon, Kirsten spent over 20 years helping to design stronger communities, accessible services and diverse teams. She worked in over 50 countries across urban development, international development, disability inclusion and technology, supporting projects for governments, charities and organisations including the World Bank.

Marketing Lead
Ellen Jones
Ellen Jones is an award-winning campaigner, best-selling author and founder of marketing practice Pansy Studios. As a speaker and trainer across business, charity, culture, and education, Ellen is known for delivering uncomfortable truths alongside actionable frameworks, focussing on what actually transforms culture and outcomes for queer and neurodivergent communities. Ellen joined Uncommon in 2025 as Fractional Marketing Lead. ​
Head of Operations
Sarah O'Donnell
Sarah joined Uncommon in 2026 as Head of Operations. She brings extensive experience in operations and business development, having previously served as Operations Director at Xyla and holding multiple roles across business development and operations at Big White Wall, where she spent over five years progressing from Contract Engagement Manager to Senior Business Development Manager. ​

Customer Service
Len Wuscher
Len is one of Uncommon's longest-serving members and a familiar face to anyone who's worked with us. As a Mentor and our Customer Service Lead, Len supports all aspects of our CS function while bringing years of institutional knowledge and genuine care to how we serve our community. Their combination of experience, reliability, and approachability makes them invaluable both to our team and to everyone who interacts with us.
Safeguarding Lead
Becky Dawson
Becky Dawson is our Safeguarding lead at Uncommon. Becky has worked in leadership roles within a large secondary school, including that of a Special Educational Needs Coordinator and Designated Safeguarding Lead, which has given her valuable expertise in training education practitioners to create learning environments for young people which are inclusive for all.
