Hi, I’m Lela! I grew up in London, and then Dorset. At school, I always enjoyed Creative Writing in English, and there were few subjects I disliked (though I was never fond of PE)! , I've always enjoyed games, and my two main comfort ones were Pokémon Emerald and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. In secondary school, I struggled with making friends, and it was quite a lonely period of my life. After A-Levels, I took a gap-year, applied to do Medicine and got into UCL, and switched courses - completing my Psychology degree at UCL last year. I did 11+ tutoring for 6-months, and did A-Level revision sessions with some 1-to-1 coaching and mentoring. I also co-led mental health workshops at university, in collaboration with Rethink Mental Illness.  If I had to pick a spirit animal it would probably be a phoenix, because I love the symbol of overcoming that rising from the ashes brings to mind! I currently have 3 rats, and their names are Orion, Hephaestus, and Perrain!  I have a passion for helping young people be in an environment where they can be themselves, and socialise with others. I know what it's like to be lonely - and I want to help other kids find their kindred spirits in one another!
