She’ll talk about navigating life in an outdoorsy family, the challenges and joys of being neurodivergent, and how she aims to create spaces where young people can see themselves and feel they truly belong.

In this relaxed and engaging chat, Brian will reflect on his personal journey navigating school and university life as someone with ADHD. He’ll share his experiences of academic success, the challenges he faced growing up, and how he found the right strategies to regain focus after discovering his ADHD diagnosis later in life.
Brian will talk about how learning to understand his ADHD helped him find better ways to study, work, and connect with others. As a mentor at Uncommon, he’s passionate about helping young people discover their own strengths and build self-awareness.
