Online DND
summer camps designed around your neurodivergent child

Does your child live for D&D nights, beg to find a D&D group, or spend hours building characters that they hope to play. This summer, they can spend three whole days doing exactly that - with other kids who get it just as much as they do, at our DnD Camp.

โ€‹

In this relaxed, three-day campaign, your young adventurer will create their own character, join a party of fellow players, and dive into an unfolding story full of battles, mysteries, and moments that go completely off-script in the best possible way. Each session builds on the last, and the choices they make genuinely shape where the story goes. No two camps ever play out the same way.

โ€‹

Whether your child is a seasoned Dungeon Master or a passionate player who hasn't found their regular group yet, they'll be met exactly where they are - by kids who share the same love of the game, and a GM who does too.

โ€‹

Our camps are designed specifically for neurodivergent young people aged 8–14, with or without a diagnosis. Small groups mean more individual attention, less overwhelm, and 100% neurodivergent mentors who genuinely understand how ND kids think, play, and thrive.

What our families say

Taking part in clubs and the recent summer camp has been amazing for my son. The session leaders are incredibly positive, patient and above all inclusive. There’s never any pressure and they are so encouraging. The community is fantastic and shows such promise for growth. I cannot recommend Uncommon highly enough."

Parent of neurodivergent anxious tween at Camp

Is this camp right for my child?

This camp is built around a one-shot D&D campaign - a complete adventure with a beginning, middle, and end that plays out across all three days. Unlike a regular campaign that runs for months, a one-shot is self-contained. Your child's party will create their characters, embark on the adventure, and reach a proper finale all within the camp. No homework, no ongoing commitment - just one brilliant story, start to finish.

โ€‹

Because the adventure builds across all three sessions, your child will need to attend every day to get the full experience - and complete a short induction beforehand so they arrive with their character ready and their DnD Beyond account all set up.

โ€‹

Each camp runs across three days during the summer holidays, online via Zoom, kept deliberately small so every young person has space. Your child can join with camera on or off, mic on or off, or simply by watching.

โ€‹

Our mentors are neurodivergent themselves. They understand things like demand avoidance, rejection sensitivity, and social anxiety, and know how to hold space for young people who've had difficult experiences in group settings before.

โ€‹

Run over Zoom in a calm, structured environment, the camp is designed to be accessible for those in burnout - you choose how you engage, whether that's diving straight in, chatting in the text channel, or quietly watching along.

โ€‹

Your child will:

๐ŸŽฒ Play through a complete D&D one-shot campaign across three days

โš”๏ธ Create their own character and shape the story through every decision they make

๐Ÿง  Access a low-pressure, creative space designed for neurodivergent minds

๐ŸŒŸ Be guided by a neurodivergent GM who understands different ways of playing

Camp Schedule

The adventure unfolds across three sessions, each building on the last. Here's what your child can expect:

โ€‹

Day 1 – Character Creation and Story Introduction

We'll kick off by creating characters together - their background, their abilities, and what makes them unique. Once the party is assembled, the campaign begins.

โ€‹โ€‹

Day 2 – Adventure and Problem-Solving

Deeper into the story now. New locations, unexpected challenges, puzzles to solve, and enemies to face. This is where the party really starts to gel.

โ€‹

Day 3 – Epic Conclusion

The story builds to its climax. Big decisions, a final challenge, and a conclusion shaped entirely by the choices your child and their party made along the way. Then it's time to celebrate everything they pulled off together.

FAQs

โ€‹

โ€‹โ€‹

Does my child need D&D experience to join?

We recommend your child has some experience with tabletop roleplay before joining - it doesn't have to be D&D specifically, but a familiarity with how TTRPGs work means they'll get so much more out of the camp. If you're not sure whether your child is ready, just drop us a message and we'll help you figure it out.

โ€‹

What is the induction and how does it work?

If your child isn't already part of our regular D&D Club, they'll need to complete a short induction before the camp starts. We'll get their DnD Beyond account set up, build their character together, and make sure they know what to expect so they arrive on day one ready to play. To arrange an induction, email [EMAIL].

โ€‹

Does my child need to attend all three days?

Yes, for DND camp. Because the camp runs as a single one-shot campaign, each day builds directly on the last. Missing a session means missing a chunk of the story. If you're unsure whether the dates work, get in touch before booking and we'll help you figure it out.

โ€‹

What does my child need to take part?

Just a device to run Zoom and a free DnD Beyond account. We'll send everything they need to get set up ahead of the camp. No dice, books, or equipment needed.

โ€‹โ€‹

How do I book a  camp?

Camps are booked through the Momence app or using the links above. Once you've set up your account, you can browse available Roblox camps and book your child's place. Spaces fill up quickly, so we'd recommend booking as early as you can/

โ€‹

Can I get a refund?

We try to work as flexibly as possible with our families and we know that things come up. Our camps camps are very popular and sell out quickly, so please do give us as much notice as possible if you won't be able to attend. Get in touch at hello@uncommonminds.co.uk and we'll do our best to help.โ€‹

โ€‹โ€‹

How do I test the connection before camp?

We strongly recommend testing everything at least a day before camp starts - it can take anywhere from 10 minutes to a little longer if any troubleshooting is needed. If you run into any issues, email us at hello@uncommonminds.co.uk and we'll help you get sorted in time.โ€‹
