Online Roblox summer camps designed around your neurodivergent child
Does your autistic or ADHD child love Roblox, but you worry about the safety of public servers?
โ
Our three-day online Roblox camps give young people (ages 8-14) a supported way to play favourite games, discover new ones and connect with other Roblox fans who get it. Whether they love obstacle courses, tycoons or roleplay games there's something for them - with a choice of 'cozy' or 'action' camp so the game style suits your child.
โ
Campers play in small, carefully managed groups with experienced (all neurodivergent) mentors who really understand how ND kids play and socialise. They can join in through voice, chat, camera, gameplay or simply watching until they feel ready.
โ
All of our games are still 100% age-appropriate and vetted by our team, and we ensure that we do not play any games that have flashing lights, horror elements or jumpscares.
โ
And camp does not end after the final session. Every Roblox camper also gets access to the wider Uncommon summer community, including our weekly gaming and social club, summer challenges and free Uncommon club sessions — so the connection can continue after camp.
3 days of camp and a summer of fun! Every camp includes online community access and 6 free club sessions

Choose your child’s play style: Cozy or Action
Roblox is not one kind of game. Some children love fast-paced challenges, obbies and adventures. Others prefer calmer, more social or creative games.
That is why we offer two different Roblox camp styles.
Roblox Cozy Camp
Roblox Cozy Camp is for young people who enjoy gentler, calmer or more social Roblox experiences.
It is ideal for children who like avatar design, roleplay, decorating, collecting, cosy worlds, collaborative play or games where there is time to chat and explore.
We focus on games that feel lower-pressure, accessible and fun, while still giving campers opportunities to connect with one another and share what they enjoy.
Cozy Camp may be a good fit if your child:
• Enjoys social, creative or roleplay-style Roblox games
• Prefers activities that are calmer or less competitive
• Likes games such as avatar, design, pet, home or world-building experiences
• Wants to meet other Roblox fans without being rushed or put under pressure
• May find fast-paced or chaotic games overwhelming
Roblox Action Camp
Roblox Action Camp is for young people who enjoy faster-paced Roblox games, challenges and shared adventures.
It is ideal for children who like obbies, tycoons, adventure games, teamwork, mini-games, quests and energetic group play.
We still keep the group small, supported and well managed, but the pace and style of play is more active than Cozy Camp.
Action Camp may be a good fit if your child:
• Enjoys faster-paced Roblox games
• Likes obbies, tycoons, challenges, quests or adventure games
• Wants to try different games with a friendly group
• Enjoys shared goals, teamwork and a bit of excitement
• Can manage some energetic gameplay with support and breaks

A scene from our previous Roblox Camp!
All the fun. Without the worrys.
Many children love Roblox because it gives them so many different ways to play, create and socialise.
But for parents, Roblox can sometimes feel worrying. Public games can be unpredictable, social interactions can move quickly, and it is not always easy to know whether a game or group will be right for your child.
At Uncommon, we make Roblox feel more manageable. Our mentors choose and check games carefully. We think about pace, content, accessibility, sensory load, rejoining if someone gets disconnected, and whether the game gives young people good opportunities to play together. We avoid games that are likely to feel too frightening, chaotic, exclusionary or difficult to manage as a group.
This means children can enjoy the parts of Roblox they love, while parents know there are experienced adults helping to hold the space.
Camp Schedule
Each Roblox Camp runs over three online afternoons.
Every day we play 5 different games and we structure each afternoon with:
• A relaxed welcome
• Getting-to-know-you games
• Group voting and choice-making
• Supported Roblox play
• Breaks and check-ins
• Opportunities to try new games
• Time to chat, laugh and connect through shared play
The exact games may vary depending on the group, because we want campers to have a say in what they play. Our facilitators help the group make choices, notice different preferences and find games that work well for everyone.
โ
Day 1: Meet the group and choose our games
We begin with a relaxed welcome and simple activities to help everyone get to know one another.
Campers can share the kinds of Roblox games they enjoy, and vote on options for games 4 & 5 of each day before playing games 1-3 - which we'll select from ideas that young people have shared with us before camp.
No one has to speak out loud or appear on camera. Young people can join through chat, reactions, gameplay or quiet watching while they settle in.
โ
Day 2: Play, explore and connect
On the second day, campers spend more time playing together. Our mentors help the group navigate turn-taking, game choices, joining issues, social moments and any tricky bits that come up along the way.
โ
Day 3: Favourite games, group choices and celebration
On the final day, we revisit favourite games, try any group-approved wildcard choices and give campers time to enjoy playing together once they know the group better.
By this point, many young people are more relaxed, more chatty and more confident joining in.
We end with a positive reflection on what the group enjoyed, what they discovered and what they might like to try next in the Uncommon community.
Meet your facilitators hosting Roblox Camp. For 2026 this includes Len, Brian, Otis & Mivi.
โ
Our mentors are neurodivergent themselves. They understand things like demand avoidance, rejection sensitivity, and social anxiety, and know how to hold space for young people who’ve had difficult experiences in group settings before.
Camp is just the beginning.
For many neurodivergent young people, open-ended social groups can feel difficult.
Being told to “make friends” or “join in” can create pressure, especially if conversation does not come easily or past social experiences have been hard.
Roblox gives everyone something shared to focus on.
Young people can connect by playing the same game, helping each other, showing what they have made, laughing at funny moments or discovering that someone else loves the same thing they do.
They do not have to start with small talk. They can start with play.
โ
But we know that friendships and belonging rarely appear fully formed after one Zoom session — or even after three days.
โ
That is why Roblox campers also receive access to the wider Uncommon summer community after camp.
โ
This includes:
• Our weekly gaming and social club
• Summer community activities and creative challenges
• A safe online space to share interests, ideas and creations
• Free Uncommon club sessions after camp
• Opportunities to keep connecting with young people who share their interests
For children who have found other groups difficult, having a place where their interests are understood and their way of joining in is respected can be incredibly powerful.
FAQs
โ
โWhich camp should my child join - Cozy or Action?
It depends on your child's play style. Cozy Camp is ideal for players who prefer a calmer pace and gentler games - all games played are rated Minimal, including favourites like Adopt Me and Dress to Impress. Action Camp is better suited to more adventurous players who enjoy a faster pace, and includes games rated Mild and Moderate. If you're not sure which is the better fit, get in touch at hello@uncommonminds.co.uk and we'll help you choose.
โ
What age restriction settings does my child need on their Roblox account?
This depends on which camp your child is joining. For Cozy Camp, the default Minimal setting is fine. For Action Camp, your child will need their age restriction set to Moderate before camp starts, as we'll be playing games rated Mild and Moderate.
.
โ
What if my child needs to miss a day or leave early?
Not a problem - just drop us a note before the session so our mentors are aware. For Roblox camp specifically, missing a day won't affect your child's server access, and they'll be able to pick up where they left off when they're back.
โ
How do I book a Roblox camp?
Camps are booked through the Momence app or using the links above. Once you've set up your account, you can browse available Roblox camps and book your child's place. Spaces fill up quickly, so we'd recommend booking as early as you can - and getting Roblox account set up straight away so you're ready to go.
โ
Can I get a refund?
We try to work as flexibly as possible with our families and we know that things come up. Our Roblox camps are very popular and sell out quickly, so please do give us as much notice as possible if you won't be able to attend. Get in touch at hello@uncommonminds.co.uk and we'll do our best to help.
โ
โโ
How do I test the connection before camp?
We strongly recommend testing everything at least a day before camp starts - it can take anywhere from 10 minutes to a little longer if any troubleshooting is needed. If you run into any issues, email us at hello@uncommonminds.co.uk and we'll help you get sorted in time.โ
